The one and only Mt. Rainier at the popular Paradise area during sunset.
Cape Kiwanda
Tatoosh Range
The Tatoosh Range in the Mt. Rainier National Park during the peak wild flower season.
Ona Beach Sunset
An interesting note about this part of a popular state park is that most of these rocks are covered by sand throughout the year except during winter an dearly spring. This is a beautiful winter sunset at Ona Beach State Park
Painted Hills
Such a unique and beautiful place in Central Oregon called the Painted Hills. You can see why they have been named so. It's hard to talk about, much less capture the depth of all the texture and beauty in this place. Definitely take the time to visit this place whenever you get a chance.
Full Moon Rising
Full Moon just as it appears above the suspension of the famous Yaquina Bay Bridge.
Foggy Forest
A beautiful forest with some ominous looking fog lingering around. The goal was to recapture and create that eerie type feeling I felt when I was there.
Raised Bridge
Good timing to have the bridge raise up for a boat while shooting along the eastern esplanade in Portland, OR.
Yaquina Bay Sunset
An absolutely beautiful sunset broke through the rain clouds over the Yaquina Bay in Newport, OR. Bottom of the bridge support and some dolphins backlit by a vibrant orange.
Backlit Bench
This was taken at the Painted Hills in Central Oregon. The sun slowly dropping below the horizon created some awesome light and shadows on this bench near one of the lookout areas. This is a multiple exposure blend to provide some detail on the front of the bench.
Latourell Falls
One of the MANY beautiful waterfalls in a short stretch along the Columbia River Gorge.
Seal Rock Sunset
Seal Rock, OR. One of my favorite places to shoot as there is never a shortage of new vantage points and beautiful scenery. This shot was from up high just off of the main walking path.
Sunset through the Alders
A beautiful bright glow creating some great colors through a patch of White Alders.
St. Johns Bridge
A dramatic cloudy day shooting up at one of the towers on the St. Johns Bridge in Portland, OR.
Multnomah Falls Lodge
The historic Multnomah Falls Lodge in early morning with the falls in the background. This is the most popular waterfall along the Gorge in this area. It's the tallest waterfall in Oregon at 620 feet!
Yaquina Bay Bridge
Yaquina Bay Bridge at sunset. Many boats are pulled out of the water for safer keeping during the winter/stormy months leaving empty boat slips which can create some interesting additions to a photo!
Multnomah Falls
Multnomah Falls in all it's glory. Sitting at 620 feet, it's the tallest waterfall in Oregon and incredibly easy to get to. A very popular destination for tourists and locals.
Greens, reds, trees, rocks, shadows, light.... can't beat all those elements when shooting a beautiful forest.
Seal Rock Sunset
Beautiful display of color during a fall sunset at Seal Rock State Park.
Peter Iredale
The famous Peter Iredale shipwreck.
Thunder Rock Cove
Columbia Hills Spring
Wild Flower season at Columbia Hills on the Washington side of the gorge.
